What I’m Up To Currently
I currently work as an HR Specialist at The Next Door, Inc., where I support people operations, systems, and organizational processes that help teams work more effectively. Alongside my professional work, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Information Management at the University of Washington, where I am building expertise in information systems, business analysis, AI, and responsible technology.
My work sits at the intersection of people, systems, and strategy. I’m especially interested in how organizations can use information, emerging technologies, and thoughtful governance to make better decisions, improve operations, and create more human-centered outcomes.
My Background
I was born in Mexico and raised in the United States, which has shaped the way I see the world and how I approach problems. Growing up between two cultures taught me to navigate different perspectives, adapt across environments, and think carefully about how people experience systems, communication, and change.
I’ve also had the opportunity to travel and learn from different places, people, and ways of thinking. Those experiences strengthened my curiosity and pushed me to ask deeper questions about why things work the way they do — and how they can work better.
Today, that perspective drives my interest in information management, AI, and organizational strategy. I’m passionate about improving systems, supporting better decision-making, and helping organizations use technology in ways that are practical, responsible, and centered on real human needs.
